Join us at beautiful Gilsland Farm with Maine Audubon for a hands-on day of habitat restoration! We’ll replant a portion of the meadow at the sanctuary's entrance with native plants that support birds and other wildlife, harvest and store seeds for spring, and have some fun launching seed balls. Dress for the weather and come ready to dig, plant, and play a part in making Gilsland Farm even more bird-friendly!

Join Chickadeeds for a fun and productive event with WindowDressers, a nonprofit that builds custom insulating window inserts to help cut energy use and keep homes warm in the winter.
We’ll roll up our sleeves to help make WindowDressers’ much needed teaching tools—sample inserts that are used to train volunteers and show others how it all works! No experience needed—just come ready to learn, build, and make a difference!
